創始人竹鶴政孝於1969年在仙台設立蒸餾廠-宮城峽 Miyagikyo ，以🌬蒸氣間接蒸餾的方式生產威士忌直到現在仍保留使用🪵木炭加熱技術，釀造出華麗而柔和的香氣就是宮城峽的特徵 。
